Classifying regulatory requirements and customer requirements

Compliance, certification and evidence requirements should be clarified at an early stage if customers require specific documentation, products with recycled content are to be sourced or regulatory requirements are relevant. This also applies to tenders, new product specifications, sustainability targets or the conversion of existing products.

One example is the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation, PPWR, which may become relevant if bags, sacks, pouches or films are used as packaging, wrapping, protection or transport packaging. The decisive factor is not the material alone, but the intended purpose of the respective product.
