Films for different applications

Depending on the field of application, films can be manufactured in different formats and qualities. These include, among others:

Which film solution is suitable depends, among other things, on the application, the field of use, further processing, the required stability and the requirements for packaging, protection or handling.

Materials for films

Depending on the technical requirements, different materials and material combinations can be processed. These include in particular:

• material blends
• virgin material
• materials with recycled content
• PCR and PIR materials

Depending on the product and application, bio-based or biodegradable material solutions can also be assessed. In doing so, we make sure that material selection, technical requirements and economic feasibility fit together. Individual formats, thicknesses and finishes

The films are manufactured according to your specification. Individually definable are, among other things:

• width and length
• material thickness
• colour and transparency
• roll stock or cut to size
• packaging unit
• perforation
• embossing
• continuous or registered print
• material composition
• recycled content

Existing product specifications can also be checked and prepared for manufacture at a suitable production partner.

Printed and finished films

Films can be manufactured unprinted or individually printed. Depending on the product, material and later further processing, continuous print images, registered print images or technical markings are possible.

This means brands, product information, usage instructions, disposal instructions, batch information or other markings can be shown directly on the film. In addition, depending on the application, films can be embossed, perforated, treated or equipped with functional properties where this is sensible for processing, application or handling.

Functional additives and special properties

Depending on the application, films can be equipped with functional additives or special product properties. Possible options include:

• antistatic finishes
• antiblock additives
• antibacterial properties
• odour-inhibiting additives
• embossed surfaces
• perforated finishes
• individual material combinations

Technical feasibility is assessed in each case on the basis of the product specification, the required quantity and the intended field of application.

Films with recycled content, PCR and PIR

Recycled materials and resource-efficient product solutions have been part of our offering for many years. Depending on the product and technical requirement, films with recycled content from PCR or PIR materials can be manufactured. Which material solution is suitable depends, among other things, on the desired quality, the application, the regulatory requirements and your customers' specifications.
