Our own quality control in the country of production
Our own quality control in the country of production, independent of the respective partner factory, checks that your specifications are met. Our teams inspect your goods during production and before shipment, directly on site.
This gives you more transparency about the production status and the quality of your goods before they leave the country of production.
Reliably checking customer specifications
The basis of every quality control is a clear product specification. This includes, among other things, material, dimensions, thickness, processing, printing, packaging units and other technical requirements. On the basis of these specifications, our team on site checks whether your goods are being manufactured in line with the agreed specifications. The inspection is carried out independently of the partner factory and directly in the country of production.
Our team has many years of experience in the film industry and knows the technical requirements for bags, sacks, pouches and films. This means deviations are identified early and resolved directly with the partner factory.
Inspection during production and before shipment
Quality control takes place during ongoing production and before shipment. This means material, processing, finish and packaging can be checked before the goods are dispatched to you.
The results are documented in a standalone packconsult inspection report. On request, we provide this report to you together with images from production for every inspected order.
Handling deviations and complaints
We document any deviations identified transparently and agree the next steps with you and the partner factory. The aim is to detect deviations as early as possible, before the goods are shipped. Depending on the situation, this is followed by corrections during ongoing production, rework, additional inspections or a renewed release.
We also support the structured resolution of later complaints with the partner factory — on the basis of the agreed specifications, existing inspection reports, images from production and other order documents. On request, processing follows established quality methods such as the 8D method: deviations are analysed systematically, causes narrowed down, corrective actions defined and their implementation tracked. In this way, not only individual complaints are addressed, but recurring errors are also avoided.
More certainty for your international sourcing
Our own quality control is particularly relevant when products are manufactured to clear customer specifications, when new production partners are involved or when there are high requirements for material, processing and finish. You receive a traceable record of the inspection and more certainty before shipment. At the same time, direct control on site reduces the coordination effort and increases transparency across the entire sourcing process.
